JESUS TAUGHT ORALLY and later God sent the Holy Spirit to the Apostles so that they would remember all the TRUTH taught by Christ. John 14:25,26; 15:26; 16:13.
THE TRUTH that came to the Apostles by the Holy Spirit was confirmed by signs
and miracles. Hebrews 2:1-4; Mark 16:19,20.
CHRISTIANS must continue faithfully in the Apostles' teaching. Acts 2:42,43;
THE MESSAGE OF CHRIST CRUCIFIED, the Gospel, is God's power to save. Romans
1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
THE GOSPEL was written down by the command of God to bring about the obedience
of faith. Romans 16:25,26.
WHAT WAS WRITTEN can be understood. 2 Corinthians 1:13; Ephesians 3:3-6.
THAT MESSAGE can produce saving faith. John 20:30,31; Romans 10:17.
BY OBEDIENCE TO THE TRUTH we purify our souls and are born again through the
